At Daily Hug, we believe coffee should feel as good as it tastes. That’s why we use air roasting—a cleaner, more precise method that suspends beans on hot air for an even roast without bitterness. Unlike traditional drum roasting, this process preserves the natural sweetness and character of each origin.
We specialize in small batch roasted coffee, crafted daily in our family-owned roastery in Santa Ana, California. Whether you're exploring premium coffee beans for home brewing, starting a specialty coffee subscription, or searching for a gourmet coffee gift set, every bag is made to deliver comfort, quality, and care—sip after sip.

It started with one simple question:
Why is it so hard to find coffee that tastes amazing, feels clean, and reflects our values?
After trying countless brands and exploring every roast style, we discovered a game-changer—Air Roasting. From the first sip, we knew this process brought something different: a smooth, bitterness-free cup, a richer aroma, and the pure taste of premium coffee beans—without the burnt, harsh aftertaste of conventional roasts.
We now source 100% specialty-grade Arabica beans from world-renowned coffee-growing regions like Colombia, Brazil, and Ethiopia, working only with trusted importers who ensure fair trade coffee beans, traceability, and sustainable farming practices.
Our result?
Small batch roasted coffee with purpose—crafted for coffee lovers, home brewers, and anyone who values quality, ethics, and flavor in every mug.
Why Air Roasting?
Unlike traditional drum roasting, which uses hot metal surfaces and can scorch the beans, Air Roasting suspends the beans on a bed of hot air, allowing them to roast evenly and cleanly. The beans are roasted in air, not against metal, the natural flavors stay intact — highlighting sweetness, balance, and the subtle character of each origin.
As the beans roast, we remove the chaff — that dry outer skin that, when burned in drum roasters, can leave a harsh, smoky aftertaste.
With air roasting, that bitterness never makes it into your cup.
The result is a premium, specialty-grade coffee with a clean profile and a smooth finish — the kind of coffee that comforts you, sip after sip.
